Growing up, footwear was more than just an accessory; it was my canvas.
Unlike most kids, my passion for footwear didn't exactly come from sneaker culture. It was, instead, inspired by the strict dress codes mandated throughout grade school. Being the sole expression of individuality, each pair I chose told a unique story and made me realize that our shoes are vessels carrying the weight and wisdom of our experiences. One such experience put everything into motion.
After being hit with a worldwide lockdown and turbulent job market thereafter, I decided to take a risk. I began building 'What is SNDR?' in my living room with a sewing machine and a simple mission: to provide footwear that not only invites you to walk in my shoes but also encourages you to consciously walk in your own.
